Assalamu’alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarokatuh

Good morning dear ladies and gentlemen.                                                                                                                               

Your excellencies the principle of SMA N. 1 Kalasan. Mr. Tri Sugiharto, M.Pd.                                                                   

The honorable of vice headmaster,                                                                                               

The honorable all teachers of SMA N.1 Kalasan,                                                                                                                

The honorable all staf of SMA N.1 Kalasan,                                                                                   

And  my loving brothers and sisters.

            Firs of all, I expess my gratitude to chairman who provided me opportunity to deliver my speech and tittle “How To Save Our City” in front of all audiences.

Ladies and gentlemen,                                                                                                                                                             Do you know Jogjakarta ? Of course, you all know that Jogjakarta is our city. And we must know all about our city. Jogjakarta is one of the most famous cities in Indonesia. It is the capital city of Daerah Istimewa  Yogyakarta province or it is more popular as DIY. Our city is also famous as a student center and cultur center city.

            Jogjakarta has population of over one million, which is made up of people of many different races and etchnic groups. Such as Javanese, Chinese, Padangnese, Sumateranese and others. The people of Jogjakartaare famous for their politeness, friendly and peace-loving nature. It make Jogjakarta is the tourist destination with a lot of tourist.

Ladies and gentlemen, Jogjakarta have many traditional food, such as Gudheg, Bakpia, Yangko, Geplak, Sambel  Goreng Krecek,etc. there are some important places of interesting in Jogjakarta, like Jogjakarta Kingdom (Sultan Palace), Water Castle, Prambanan Temple and Parangtritis Beach.

Ladies and gentlemen, the description above explain the peculiar feature of our city. The peculiar feature that must we guard until whenever. We as the Javanese population obligatory to continue our culture. For the example :

1.      We proud to use the original product from Jogja.

2.      Begin to introduce our culture to other .

3.      Show to all that our culture not lose with other culture especially west culture.

4.      Don’t over use the foreign culture.

5.      Don’t ever  feel  ashame to use our original product from Jogja such as “Batik”.

6.      Don’t ever let the other nation take away our culture, etc.

Remember :  “The little something we do for our city, gives begger meaning for our city”.

I think it’s completely enough for me to this point. That’s all my speech and I do apologize for my unintentional fault.
